a) I do not agree.
At this age, we might not be mature enough and might not be aware of the consequences of going steady. If we happen to start quarreling, we would not be able to handle our problems and feelings. Going steady also means a great responsibility that we have to hold. We might think that we are too young for the big responsibility.
b) I think that their opinion is true.
